Personal care attendant
The Evangeline ARC Respite Center provides in-home PCA Services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
These services provide personal care within the individual's home. The service provides Clients one on one support to either accomplish tasks within their home or accompanying Clients to perform needed excursions into the community for shopping, medical appointments, recreational activities, etc. These services promote independence for the Client by interacting with the public and allowing the Client to practice needed tasks for independent living.
We are currently accepting new participants for PCA Services through the Respite Center. In order to receive these services, a participant must be certified through the local Acadiana Area Human Services District (formally OCDD). They can be contacted at 337-262-5610. If you are currently receiving Waiver Services (including NOW, Supports or ROW), you can contact your Support Coordinator to inquire about adding these services.
